Frank was left staring at the door blankly; he was now convinced something was wrong, but kicking the door open was out of his options.

An idea popped up, and he ran to Sam's room, waking him up.

Sam stared at him, rubbing his dizzy eyes.

"Sam, mom wants to see your dinosaurs," Frank lied to him.

Sam's eyes popped up, remembering his dinosaur toy.

"Where is mommy?" He asked.

"In her bedroom, but first, can you remember the time you came home?" He asked even though he knew a four-year-old could not remember such a thing.

Sam rubbed his eyes again; he could not remember anything. He was so tired and needed rest.

"Were you asleep when you came back from the museum?" Frank asked.

Sam quickly nodded. "Yes, the daddy carried me," he replied.

Frank gave him a fake smile and poured a glass of water for him.

"Here, have this," he said, handing him the water.
