As Frank debated whether to punch the man in the face or simply leave, the table fell silent. A second ago, he was very excited to meet a relative from his father's side, but it appeared that the man had bad intentions.

He stood up politely. "I'm sorry; I'm sure your deal is good, but I'm not the right person for it," he said.

"Sit down; I'm not finished yet," Marcus replied. He was ecstatic because Frank had passed the test. Most young men would be glued to their seats, eager to learn how much work was involved or what the job entailed.

He had purposefully sounded spiteful in order to put Frank's dignity to the test. It was the first time the two were meeting, and catching up should have been the order of things.

"With due respect, I am a very busy man," Frank replied, turning around.

"The deal involves two million dollars," Marcus announced.

Frank froze, swallowing hard. Two million dollars would make him an instant millionaire. The man appeared to be richer than he looked.
