Chapter 48 New Things

Theo POV

My arrival at the shelter was warmly welcomed by the Fire Pack. Their faces showed hope, and I couldn't afford to let them live in limbo like this. I was shown around by a young woman I met. She was so enthusiastic about explaining various things to me, such as the location of schools for werewolf children, where to hunt for them, and the cooperation system that they practiced.

“We don't have Alpha.” She said quietly while looking at me. “Part of the herd has died because of the tragedy of looting by robbers. Then there are some who still live in the Fire Pack and are followers of a gang of robbers. Those of us who live here are only 0.1% of the total number of Fire packs.” She continued her explanation.

“I understand.” I sat down next to her and looked at her, who was looking disinterested. “What's your name?” I asked.

“Introduce, my name is Lily.” She smiled so widely that her round eyes narrowed like crescents. I smiled too when I saw her cheeks turn red.
