Chapter 38: Wizard Irene

AUSTIN POV

I entered the secret room that I have kept my mate in for the past three years. A room only I can go inside. Whoever enters behind my back will be sentenced to death because whatever I keep there is more important than their wretched life.

I closed the door behind me gently and was welcomed by the cold temperature of the room. I switched on the lights and adjusted my eyes to it.

There she lay in the crystal coffin, in her Teal laced gown.

I took gentle steps towards her and stood next to her. The room temperature was so freezing but I could care less. That was the only thing that had kept her in good condition without her body decaying.

Her face was pale and flawless and her long eyelashes cast a shadow on her cheeks. Her skin is still intact like it was three years ago. No acne, no wrinkles.

I dipped my hands in my down jacket pocket and gaze at her beautiful and flawless face with affection.
