Chapter fifty-five

Ariadne POV

My phone chimed under the cushion. Angrily, I practically yelled. It was like the midnight annoying sound dogs make.

"What is with the constant buzzing?"

Hannah walks in.

"Oh I see you've finally decided to wake up, I got some kedgeree and crumpets made. I'm going out."

I frown, questioning, "where are you going?"

She stared at me surprised. "You must have forgotten right? It's today." I still maintain my questioning gaze. " the moon festival. So if you decide to stay in bed all day. I give you the license to but not limited to me. I'm staying out all day today." She popped her head back and walked outside.

Damn, how could I have forgotten about what today is? I will just be stupid to say. Sitting upright I wished I could yawn but I'm short of breath.

My hands folded over to the phone I had neglected picking it up because of the stupid things I might have done yesterday. I've got some spheres to sit still within the pack.
