Chapter Sixty-Six

Alpha Davon's POV

"Ah," I yawned as fatigue got the better of me as soon as I was made to sit on the bed by Elsa after such an exhausting meeting.

"I think you should lie down. You're clearly very tired," she said to me and I didn't need any further persuasion to do just that.

I lay on the bed quickly, stretching as much as I could as I yawned one more time. I needed to get some sleep and I knew it, but I couldn't pass on an opportunity to talk to Elsa even if it was for a short time.

I shut my eyes for a while just to reminisce all that happened earlier on in the throne room. I wondered if I had made the right choice by asking a guard to bring the food to the throne room and leaving it very close to Linda.
