Chapter Sixty-Seven Murray's POV "What the hell is happening to me?" I said to myself over and over again, struggling to get a grasp of the way that I felt within me. For a whole week, I had barely spent any time with Elsa, save the few times when I went to see my brother and at night when we both got back to the room too tired to say anything but a subtle goodnight before dozing off. It was a weird relationship but I could understand that she was very busy tending to my brother during the day. It was normal for our time to reduce because of that. What wasn't normal was that I wasn't just spending time with Mandy while she was gone but with Alina. It was so bad that even Mandy had begun to suspect me even though I always denied it and shut her up each time she brought the matter up. I knew she was no fool though. We used to meet every day before that time. But I reduced it to once in two days so that I could make room for Alina who had no problem with that, seeing that she knew
Chapter Sixty-Eight Elsa's POV "I know that Alpha Davon is now alright. He's hale and hearty. I saw him just yesterday and he was all smiles as he walked around the kitchen just to greet us all. He's a kind one, but Elsa honey, you don't have to leave the Pack," Aby tried to dissuade me from leaving in her usual verbose manner. "We could just stay here. You'll be the wife of the Prince. That's something huge, isn't it? No one's gonna maltreat you. You're part of the royal family. On the other hand, I get to have my friend with me and you get to have the most adorable friend that anyone can ever have… Me." I always knew that it was going to come to that. After the last encounter we had when I attempted to leave the Pack with Prince Murray, I was convinced of her dramatic nature. I just didn't know what to do about it. Somehow, it felt like she was the only one who was keen to have us stay together. She might have thought that way in her mind because only she made the effort and I l
Chapter Sixty-Nine Elsa's POV For a few seconds, Murray just kept staring at us and said nothing. Then he slowly closed the door behind him and walked towards us with a better visage. "What's going on here?" He asked. "I just came here not so long ago to let Alpha Davon know that we'll be leaving the Pack tomorrow. He doesn't seem to agree with that." "Really?" Murray got to the bed and sat by Alpha Davon's right hand. "But I already told you that brother. We need to leave soon. We must do so." Alpha Davon shook his head and frowned. He was displeased but there was nothing he could do about it because our minds were already made up. Yet, he was willing to try. "You wouldn't stay back? Even for me, brother?" "Even for you. I can't remain in the Pack. I'm sorry." "Okay then," Alpha Davon replied, finally conceding that we couldn't get us to stay back. "All I can say to both of you is that you should go well. May the Goddess be with you both and grant you a safe trip." "Thank yo
Chapter Seventy Elsa's POV It was evening and everything was set for us to leave the Pack. The warriors were all dressed up with their armours on and the carriages were ready. Alpha Davon stepped out of the throne room with Alina by his side as he prepared to get into the carriage so that we could head out. As they walked, I wondered why Alina had to be such a coward, especially since she wasn't actually as weak as she portrayed herself to be. She was just scared of wars because she probably didn't want to put her life on the line. "Are you set?" Alpha Davon asked, as they both got to where I stood and I nodded, not wanting to say a word because Alina was there. She was already wearing a squint as soon as Alpha Davon spoke to me and I didn't want to make things any worse than they already were. They walked past me and I followed behind until we got to our carriage. Alpha Davon and I were to travel in the same carriage whilst the rest of the people entered the other carriages
Chapter Seventy-One Elsa's POV I quickly moved to the right to evade the arrow. I managed to evade it but it was a bit too late. It grazed my skin, drawing a bit of blood from it and I held it, shutting my eyes in pain. "Are you hurt?" Alpha Davon rushed to me looking very concerned. "I'm fine. It's just a scratch. Nothing to worry about at all. Let's go kick their asses." I used my sword to cut out a part of my dress and with it, I tied the wound so that it wouldn't bleed so much and then, I began to look around so that I could find out who attacked me. Our men did the same too as two other men had fallen to the floor, killed by an arrow shot to the neck and the tip of those arrows were made of silver. Suddenly, one of our men faced his bow upwards and shot his arrow and immediately, a man fell from a tree which wasn't so far away from where I stood. "Aim high!" Alpha Davon yelled at the men as we saw that the enemies had covered themselves with leaves so that they'd remai
Chapter Seventy-Two Elsa's POV Melissa approached us as quickly as she could with those six guards following behind with frowned faces. "You dare show your stupid face here after all that you have done?" She asked, ignoring the fact that Alpha Davon was standing right beside me. "Seize her!" The men approached me as she stood with her arms folded and a huge grin on her face, finally about to deal mercilessly with me, just like I knew she always wanted to. I knew that she'd try something like that, especially after how I left the Pack. It was clear to me that I'd be declared wanted afterwards. No one ever escaped the Pack and came back to open arms. As one of the men was about to put his hands on me, Alpha Davon quickly intervened, grabbing his left hand immediately and twisting it to his back. The hand went snap and the guard yelled in agony. "Is anyone else ready to share the same fate or could we peacefully make our way to the throne room so that we could say hello to your
Chapter Seventy-Three Elsa's POV Two Days Later "I can't believe you're leaving already," Maggie said to me with sadness in her voice. "You could have just stayed for a bit more, even if it's a week. Why leave so soon?" I placed my right hand on her cheeks and smiled at her. "It has to happen. Besides, I don't have the final say in the matter. Alpha Davon does. But even if I had it, I think it'd be better for me to head back to the Stronghold Pack so that I can leave with my husband. He means everything to me, even if we aren't on good terms at the moment." "Why?" "He didn't want me to come here to help this Pack. He wanted us to leave regardless because he felt like Alpha Davon and the men he came with could handle the matter without me, but I needed to be here." She sighed. "I'm sorry about that. I'm quite sure that by the time you'd be back, you guys can talk it out," she tried to cheer me up, seeing that my countenance had dropped as soon as that topic came up. "I believe he
Chapter Seventy-Four Alpha Davon's POV "What's going on here?" I asked, surprised to see my wife unclad on the bed with my brother. Nothing else existed in my head at that time. I just froze there, gaping at them with my mouth wide open and they remained still too, also in shock. They didn't expect that I would be back so soon. No, they couldn't have. They probably thought they had all the time in the world to make love to each other before I'd return and then they'd pretend that nothing happened. What got me more upset was that after what seemed like a minute or a bit more, Alina still sat on Murray's member. She didn't think it wise to get off him. Yeah, it was probably because of the shock but it still made me madder. "I'm so sorry," she apologised, finally getting off him and snatching a wrapper to cover up herself. "I don't know what came over me. This is the first time, I swear! Please, forgive me." Prince Murray gradually began to make his way out of the bed. He had p
