Kieran stood behind me, Alpha Viktor in front of me, and Mum beside me. My head was hung low in shame. Within the course of five days in this mansion, I had managed to cause a scandal.
How? I had no freaking idea. But I bet you, I had a very very good guess about the source. Apparently, falling and being caught by the Beta was a crime in this place. Well, I could not blame them much. Whoever took the pictures of Mr. Kisaragi catching me back on the balcony that night sure made it seem like we were engrossed in some romantic shit. Two days after the incident on the balcony, pictures of me and the Beta were swirling across the internet in waves. “Throw them out, Dad. I told you they are opportunists. They arrived here just a few days ago and the daughter is already doing dirty things with a man. Jin of all people.” Kieran scoffed. “What is the assurance that the mother will not sleep with the Gamma next? They are just looking for opportunities to exploit us!” His words were all shades of wrong. How could he even dare to say that to my mother? In her presence even? I turned to Mum, hoping to see that she was about to defend herself, but all she did was shake her head sadly. What the heck? Would she just allow this arrogant guy to insult her at every chance he got?! “Look here, Kieran. Whoever is behind those pictures definitely is a cold-blooded liar. They made them seem cynical. I keep saying it; I had tripped and all Mr. Kisaragi did was to catch me before I hit the ground, nothing more!” I bellowed, a pulse throbbing in my head violently. Umbra hissed angrily inside of me. “It's him, Nimue. I'm sure he's behind it.” Damn right, it was him. He was my number one suspect too. No – he was the only suspect on my list. It just fitted so conveniently. Kieran clearly did not want us in the mansion and would do anything to have us thrown out. Even if it meant disregarding my mother so openly or sneaking up on me and Mr. Kisaragi, taking downbeat pictures of us, and posting them to make us – make ME look bad. “Don't judge before you investigate, Nimue. Remember Umbra is always negative. What if it's Mr. Kisaragi who set this up himself? Do you not find it too convenient that he just showed up on the balcony, and boom – your pictures are all over the internet?” Luna, who obviously liked Kieran queried. Sure, I knew Umbra was always grumpy and negative. But in this instance, she was right and Luna was wrong. This was a scandal that had ‘Kieran’ written all over it. Umbra defended herself straight away, kicking Luna off with a paw. “Use your brain, you dummy. Mr. Kisaragi clearly stated that he watches the Moon every night. And he set the pictures up? Was he the one who asked Nimue to trip and fall? He merely did her a favor by catching her!” “Shut up, you boring wolf!” Luna growled, yawning. Alpha Viktor’s voice snapped me back to reality. “Nimue, whatever your explanations are, it won't change the narratives out there. What you must do now is to work on a solution to solve this mess and not find flimsy excuses!” ‘F-Flimsy excuses’?! How on earth was that me finding flimsy excuses? That meant Alpha Viktor also didn't believe me. I had no idea why Mum would want to marry such a person. He clearly had not even an ounce of respect or affection for her. He let us drive all the way here from Ravenwood when we moved, he watched his son disrespect her without even a word of caution for him. I still didn't get why she was going to marry him. What I was one hundred percent sure of was that I would never accept Alpha Viktor and his son as my father and brother. “There is no other excuse than to send them back to the slum where they belong, Dad.” Kieran crossed his arms over his chest. “They knew quite well how upright the Alpha’s family must be. News that the Alpha’s new daughter seducing the beta in a dark place is a bad stain on our reputation. You have enemies who want this position for themselves. What she…” He sent me a disdainful glance. “What she did jeopardizes that. Just get rid of them. That's my opinion.” Oh, gosh. How much I wished Alpha Viktor wasn't present here. I would have given this bastard a piece of my mind. Still, that did not stop me from biting my bottom lip in fury while giving him a side glare. Finally, Alpha Viktor deemed it fit to shut him up. “That's okay, Kieran. The Alpha Council has already come up with a solution for this. Credit to ME.” He turned to Mum with a ‘I saved your ass’ look as if he was trying to tell her that he had done her yet another favor. Was it me or did something seem off about Alpha Viktor and Mum’s relationship? I had thought they were in love because the Mum had told me about their supposed relationship. But now, I was beginning to question the truthfulness of those stories. But would Mum lie to me? If so, why? She said I’d understand someday why we had to be here. Why did we have to be here? I grid my lions, awaiting the solution of the Alpha council that Alpha Viktor was about to announce. Something told me it would be more of a problem than a solution. But let's have it… “It can't be good.” Luna shuddered within me. As always, Umbra was quiet. Hands clasped in front of her, “Thank you so much, Viktor.” Mum thanked the Alpha. However, he held out a finger pointedly. “Alpha. It's Alpha Viktor.” “Hahahahaha!” Kieran burst into a hypocritical laughter beside us. I couldn't just take this any longer. The humiliation was getting too much. How could a soon-to-be husband ask for his wife to regard him with titles?! “Anyway…” He continued. “Nimue is to attend the same college as Kieran so that he can keep an eye on her…” What in the blazes of thunderstorms?! Kieran uncrossed his arms with his brows snapped together in anger. “What did you just say, Dad? My school is no school for a girl! You know it's a mixed school. Humans and vampires attend too!” “So now, you care for her, isn't it?” Alpha Viktor questioned Kieran who only grounded his jaw in fury. Not for all the tea in China would I have wanted to attend the same school as this bastard. The thought of attending a mixed school when all I had done was to go to a werewolf-only school all my life was dreadful. I don't do well with humans, not to mention – vampires. But seeing that something got under Kieran’s skin was entertaining. His own plan was backfiring on him. Jackpot! I would have celebrated my half-win had Alpha Viktor not added a heart-shattering bombshell. “She is to be eighteen this season, yeah? During the next mating ceremony, the Alpha council wants Nimue to find her mate and be mated to him before the following mating ceremony after this approaching one which is in six months.” I gaped, uncertain whether to breathe or scream. Be mated? What solution would that render with eliminating the scandal? As if he could read my thoughts, “That would help keep her dignity and hyperactive sexual desires in check. Being the Alpha’s daughter is a huge responsibility that comes with maintaining your dignity as a lady.” Hyperactive sexual desires?! Bruh, I was still a virgin! If my mate didn't like me, what then?!Kieran ~~ One thing I hated more than Jin Kisaragi was girls who didn't know their places. Girls with uncouth mouths, rascals, and opportunists like Nimue. I loathed her down to my bones. I couldn't decide who I despised the most between her and her stupid mother. Returning to my room in anger after my father had insisted that she was to resume the same college as me, I began to doubt if my plan had not backfired on me. Yes, it was I who took those pictures of Jin and her. The online postings were also my deed. I knew it wasn't the most conventional way of doing things, but man, she just had to go. Not just her… her mother as well. I liked my family as it already was. I loved being an only child to my mother and father, but since Mum was indisposed, Dad had no business remarrying. This new Luna, I wondered if she knew that my mother was still alive, kept away somewhere by my father because of his greed. I just didn't want anyone hurt. So, it was better I got rid of th
When I was done with her lips, I moved to Lucille’s full breast. The girl might think she was beautiful, but her beauty had nothing on me. Meanwhile, her breasts were the only things I could actually tolerate about her. They were so full and so… juicy. I inclined my head, taking her left breast in my mouth while my hands puffed the right one like it was a balloon I was trying to deflate.Lucille responded by grabbing my head with both of her hands for support. I could feel her muscles relaxing, and her leaning back for me to take full control.Sucking off sweat and the steamy shower water off her nipples, I released the left breast and allowed my hands to trail around her body. I followed a path from her chest down to her stomach and then, a little lower.A long melancholic groan emanated from her when two of my fingers found her opening and dipped themselves into it. “Oh, Kieran…” Her grip on my head firmed.I thrust in and out of her, fingering arousal into her while, simultaneousl
NIMUE ~~ "Argh! I hate him!" I groaned, clutching the soft lavender pillow to my chest. It wasn't working. No matter how much I smothered my face in its floral scent, the image of Kieran's smug face, his stupid perfect abs, and that infuriating smirk… it all remained burned into my retinas. "Ugh, why Luna?" My voice came out muffled. "How can you possibly find anything remotely attractive about that lying, arrogant… Adonis?" Luna, who was just a closet Kieran fangirl chirped in my mind, "He has a certain… alpha quality, I swear! And those eyes… they are like molten chocolate…" "Molten chocolate that wants to melt my insides and then spit out the bones," I grumbled. Umbra growled in agreement. She hated Kieran and I did too. "Exactly! He's trouble with a capital T. Remember the whole 'scandal' fiasco? That was all him, Nimue. I could smell the lie all over him.” She pointed out. "Ugh, don't remind me! The entire pack thinks I'm some gold-digging drama queen now, all th
Pure-Blood College wasn't your typical high school. Sure, it had lockers lining the hallways and classrooms buzzing with pre-pubescent energy, but the occasional scent of a wolf or vampire hinted at a deeper secret hidden beneath the exterior of the normalcy of the school. Gosh, I shuddered. I had such a phobia for humans and vampires. Back in Ravenwood, we were quite separated from them. But here, it was a whole hell of a mixed species.Humans, as usual, were oblivious to the supernatural world co-existing with them. They mingled with werewolves, vampires, and the like, creating a unique social ambiance unbeknownst to them that some of us tore our own flesh and shifted into beasts while the other drank blood… their blood. But for me, Nimue, a soon-to-be-eighteen werewolf with a pack full of bad PR, it felt like walking into a lion's den in a lamb costume.Taking a deep breath, I entered the school, overwhelmed by the clamor of voices and the sheer scale of the place. Sunlight strea
“Don't mind them," the girl said softly, not in the least bit noticing the chill coursing through me. "Those girls are notorious bullies. Always picking on someone." A vampire was talking to me! A vam-fucking-pire was talking to ME! I began to tremble, my brain not doing its job efficiently. I was fumbling with the corner of the towel so clumsily, I could hear Luna laughing at me. The vampire girl's face morphed into surprise as she noticed my struggle with the towel. "Here, let me help you with that." Before I could protest, she gently took the towel from me and began dabbing at the orange stain. Her touch was surprisingly light, despite the unnatural chill that emanated from her. Oh, help me, Moon Goddess! HELP ME! "So," she continued, her voice still soft, "is it true what they're saying about you and Mr. Kisaragi?" I stared at her, blinking and thrown off guard. Jin Kisaragi? The rumors had reached even the school weirdos? Sensing my surprise, the girl added quickly,
After breathing nervously into my palms, I shoved open the classroom door and was met with a sight that left me speechless. Two human students, clearly athletes judging by their builds were towering over Nadia. The look on their faces was like guys who weren't able to attend their favorite concert. Nadia who was huddled on the floor looked small and vulnerable. What in hell’s name was going on here?“Seems they are bullying her,” Luna replied to me.Umbra grumbled and took the words out of my mouth. “Don't be a dummy, Luna. How can humans bully a vampire? They don't measure…”"That's not enough!" one of the humans snarled, shoving Nadia with his foot as if to prove Luna right. "We told you, double the usual amount, or you'll regret it!"Trust Luna to revel in her win. “Aha! Told ya! She's being bullied.”My eyes bulged from their sockets. What the heck was going on? Was Nadia, not the vampire who had just given me the creeps in a funny way?H-how…?The other students in the class se
Nadia scurried down a narrow flight of stairs, leading into the dimly illuminated bowels of the college. Dust motes danced in the single, blinking overhead bulb that did nothing but loom creepy shadows on the walls.Nadia practically dragged me down the creaky, cobweb-draped stairs leading to the school’s basement. My senses were already on high alert. Why in grief’s name were we heading to the school’s basement?Bruh, this was my first day at school!Luna, of course, was having a meltdown in my head. "Are you crazy, Nimue? Down here? It's the basement! Basements are for creepy crawlies and forgotten gym socks, not following weird vampires!"I was already fretting, really and Luna was just making matters worse!Umbra silenced her with a dry, "She's a vampire, Luna, not a sewer monster. Besides, she can't exactly drag Nimue to the rooftop for a heart-to-heart."Ignoring their bickering, I called after Nadia, "Hey, where are we going? This place gives me the heebie-jeebies!"She finall
As we made our way back up the creaky stairs, Nadia cleared her throat hesitantly. "So, uh, Nimue?" she began, kicking a pebble down the steps."Yeah?""Do you think… we could be friends?" she blurted out in a rush, her cheeks flushing pink.I blinked, surprised by the question. "Why wouldn't we be?"Sure, Nadia seemed a little… quirky, but she was definitely more interesting than the human and other girls who spent their lunch breaks giggling over boys and makeup.Nadia bit her lip. "Well, you see, it's not exactly easy being me. No one really wants to hang out with the school loser, you know?""Loser?" I scoffed. "You're not a loser, Nadia. You're a psychic vampire with a secret stash of forbidden chocolate, what's not to love?"Nadia giggled, a hand over her mouth. "Forbidden chocolate? That's a good way to put it." Her smile faltered again. "Besides, my parents are super strict about who I hang out with. No vampires allowed, apparently because most of the vampires in th
