MAEVE’S POV

“ Please don’t work at the Grill Bar, come back to pack house. Maybe what is happening now is a sign that you shouldn’t work there. If you come back to work here I promise to be good to you, “ Alpha Zane said to me softly.

Hearing Alpha Zane say those words to me really warmed and melted my heart. All I wanted was for us to get naked. There was no denying it any further. I was attracted to Alpha Zane.

After seeing Kelvin, I thought I’d still feel the way I used to feel about him, but I just didn't feel the spark with him like I felt with Alpha Zane. It was then I realized that my crush on Kelvin had withered away.

When I looked into Alpha Zane’s eyes all I saw was sincerity and care. I didn't know what to say to him. I just got the job at the Packs Grill bar and quitting on my first day didn't sit well with me.
