I freeze with shock. My eyes widen, seriously probing into Lily's own and silently asking if what, or who I just heard spoke wasn't imagined. Am I dreaming? I hate daytime. The rise of the sun which usually brings some level of joy to others has only brought sadness to me. My suffering would usually begin with back-breaking chores as the sun rises and would go on and on while getting physically abused in the process, till late in the evening when most pack members finally retire to bed. Today promises to be a beautiful day. This morning is unlike any other I've woken up to see in the past eighteen years.
