Chapter 56

Austin’s POV

It's a quiet morning for me. The hotel is quiet, which is odd to me because usually many alphas and betas would come to talk deals with my brother Jordy.

I was drunk last night and went to bed directly last night.

I yawn lazily, take a quick bath, scratch my back and make a phone call to Emma. No one is answering the phone. She is up yet. That's odd.

My eyebrows frown. It's so unlike her to not be up at this time. I decide to call my brother Jordy, he doesn't answer the phone either.

That's weird.

Jordy is an extreme workaholic. No matter what he did last night, even having sex with Emma, he never woke up so late. He has to deal with tons of work, and he says sleep is a complete waste of time.

Did they sleep together last night?

Well, maybe he and Emma had a wonderful night.

As I make my way to the room that we book for Emma, I stretch my muscle and yawn again. When I open the room door, the room is quiet.

Where is Emma? Bed? And why isn't she getting up yet?
