CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO - CHAOS AND DISCOVERY

I couldn't get to the bastard as fast as I'd like. He was surrounded by his wolves and they were very insistent creatures. I had to kill everyone who stood in front of me, everyone who tried to stop me. They only managed to slow me down a little and make me even angrier.

I rolled with the bastards who could take me down. Teeth and claws clashing and shredding flesh. The snow melted in the heat of the fight and soaked our fur. Because of dominance, most didn't have the courage to attack me and I was grateful for that. The shots couldn't divert my attention and all I could ask was that no bullet found my body on the path or any of my wolves. I couldn't stop.

I tore at the second-in-command's face as he pounced on me. The wolf was fast. His teeth dug into my ear in the process, but my ear was nothing compared to the agony of seeing Sarah still lying in the snow. Yes, with each wolf I took down I looked back at her to see if she was still breathing.
