Damn! The colour of his eyes

"Hmm, I'm all alone." I muttered, staring at the road.

Nah, you're not. I've got your back.

I smiled, wryly. Yeah, you've got my back. It's rather too early to doubt myself.

I turned and sat on the bench, waiting for Adrian to come. And while waiting for them, I decided to rearrange my bag.

After minutes of watching people alight and board buses, a black minivan pulled up in front of me. I didn't give too much attention to it assuming it to be another vehicle that had dropped a passenger.

A shadow appeared before me. "Hey." A very familiar voice whispered. "Get in."

I frowned, raised my head at the voice and was met by a very bright smile. Heck, it was blinding.

"Hey, stranger." I smiled at him.

He winked at me, smiling. "Hey, friend." He greeted.

"Are you here to kidnap me?" I took my bag and looked at him.

"Maybe." He shrugged. "After you." He motioned for me to get into the car.

I entered the car and he climbed in behind me. "Such a gentleman." I mumbled.
