Chapter 37

There was something in me that I couldn't believe existed. I know that this is the will of the moon goddess because she didn't want me to suffer in pain and humiliation. And I am probably thankful for her because she gave me this kind of force that I could use against the enemies to protect my loved ones.

In just one bite of my sharp teeth, my enemies were now lying on the ground lifeless. It seems like my bite consists of a poison that when someone is bitten, it will probably be the end of my life.

“We're getting powerful, Margaux!” Luna screamed and that made me smile. I could already notice the enemies getting fewer because some of them were now dead until they decided to retreat.

There was a relief that escaped from my throat knowing that the pack was safe again, and I didn't regret that I went back to help them. My mom would probably be forced to fight when I didn't go home. That would cause her life to be at risk.
