Chapter Forty Nine

Theo's POV

We managed to get Leo, Arnold and Tabitha over the borders without a problem because, as it happens, Leo has a witch that can transport them.

They materialise into the yard of the pack house in a bubble of dust that kicks up from the dirt below.

Six of them materialise before our eyes, and even though I am shocked, it doesn't seem as if Khai and Lilith are, or even my dad for that matter.

Apparently, it seems I'm the only one to not have seen a witch use powers such as these. Which wouldn't be unusual because I haven't been around many witches in my lifetime.

"Theodore, it's wonderful to see you again. This is my mate, Tabitha. You already know Arnold, his son Caleb and this is Alexus and Duncan. Two of my witch friends."

"You didn't tell me you had witches with peculiar powers..." I shake his hand, motioning him to come inside the house because I think it would be far safer inside my home.

"Define peculiar Theodore..."

"Out of the ordinary."
