Renee’s POV I was almost asleep in my room when I heard Amber's voice ring out downstairs. "Why are you here? What is the meaning of this? Answer me!!" Ethan's POV With everyone having taken part in the blood pact their lips were now sealed unless I gave my permission to speak of these secrets. I turn my eye back to Bill waiting for the additional information. He senses my stare and takes the hint. "The Vander’s were said to be some of the last vampire Hybrids." Renee's POVTo my surprise Joey pulled his own wrist to his mouth and bites it. Then offers it to me. I pull back from it, only for him to force it to my mouth. Renee's POV I awoke on the floor of the cell. It was now dark outside as there was no light coming through the small, barred windows of the basement. "Ugh" I groaned my whole body hurt, and my face felt smushed from laying on it. My hand went to the back of my head I could feel the dried blood in my hair but at least it felt like my head wound had closed. I peeled my face of the floor where it had been stuck in congealed blood. Then I pushed my body off the floor until I was in a sitting position. The lights were still on in the basement, and I could see a total of five cells, but all the other ones were empty. The change of position caused my head to start spinning. I brought my hands to either side of my head holding it up hoping to stop the dizzy spell. "You know I really don't think I'm going to develop Stockholm syndrome, so I don't know why you are smiling like that." I said through gritted teeth.
