Alpha Ethan (POV)

I still hadn’t fully processed the memories that Renee showed me. I knew I didn't blame Renee for basically seducing Joey to let her out. It still pissed me off though, not at her but the situation. She should have never had to do that.

I keep seeing Joey's face looking at my mate with such desire and I can feel the fires of anger burning in my soul. I had to stay calm for her, she was already afraid that I would reject her.
