I couldn't believe Joey was dead. I couldn't believe I was talking about taking power over The Grey Lake Pack until I found a suitable Alpha replacement.

All I wanted to do when this conversation started with Elder Chase was go home with Ethan and lock ourselves in his room until we were properly mated and marked.
