Renee’s POVI awoke gasping for air alone in the back of a van, my head was pounding, and it was impossible to think straight. Esther said it wouldn’t be easy and she was right, I felt sick to my stomach, dizzy, lightheaded, and to top it off I was seeing about four of everything. Everything that had happened felt both real and like a dream, I could still feel a searing pain in my chest, although I could not see anything wrong with it. Renee’s POV“Never!” I brought my head forward banging it into Elizabeth’s, she loosened her grip, and I pushed forward. I grabbed her arm with the sword in it and twisted it around until she dropped the blade. Then I brought my elbow up knocking her in the nose. Luna Renee’s POVIt has been over a month now since the battle at Hawthorn Pointe and I haven’t heard from Esther since she brought Elizabeth’s body back to her father, although Esther told me to expect that as it would take them time to make decision and Esther wouldn’t be allowed to contact me in the meantime.It was nerve racking not knowing what to expect, but I have thrown myself into pack business to do my best to distract myself. Luna Renee’s POVI awoke the next morning in pure bliss, I sat up in the bed, Ethan was still sleeping soundly next to me. I glanced around the nearly destroyed room. I don’t think there was a single surface we didn’t utilize in last night's festivities. My body felt both sore and delicious. I decided to go make us some breakfast, I wrapped the sheet around me and headed down to the quaint kitchen. The refrigerator was fully stocked in preparation. Esther’s POVIt has been a couple weeks since the events at Hawthorn Point, Elizabeth’s body is on ice until I can gather as much evidence as I can as quickly as I can, the Elder Council has been helping, but I know time is of the essence, and I fear I am just about out. Dimitri the head of the Vampire High Council and Elizabeth’s father was undoubtably already investigating the death of his daughter, since when she died, so did countless other vampires she had sired, and it was only a matter of time before that investigation led them to the New Lunar Pack and to Renee, who I was becoming quite fond of.
