27~ Everything repeats itself

Darkness. There was total darkness. The place I woke up in felt empty but most of all, I couldn’t see anything. All I could see was darkness and ……. Nothing. The area was devoid of any life form, I could not feel my heart beat either.

‘Did…….I …….die?

Suddenly huge mirrors loomed out of the darkness. I could see that I was in a room full of mirrors surrounding me. Scared, I decided to make a run for it. I kept running but I couldn’t find an exit, only a line of endless mirrors, it felt like I was in an abyss.

Exhausted, I stopped to catch my breath then turned my head to look at one of the mirrors. I gasped at what I saw in the mirrors reflection. It was me, no… not me, someone who looks like me in ancient clothing. Fear ripped through me when she suddenly smiled and chuckled.

“I am you, silly,” she said. “You can wipe off that terrified look from your face, I come in peace.”

“W-What?..... You ….are me?” I asked making gestures
