Four weeks……. That’s how much time I had left. You would only know how precious time was when you’re left with none. 

Sighing loudly, I closed the book that I had started to read to pass time and got up from the bed. 

Alexander had left to meet Mark but he did not really disclose what the meeting was about. I tried to convince him to let me follow him but he was adamant about going alone. 

To be honest, I wondered if Mark, like me had retained his past life memories. I had intended to keep an eye on him so that he doesn’t disclose the truth about the curse. But I shrugged the thoughts off and stayed behind.. If he had retained his memories then he would have said something about the curse, no?
