Rosaria
Fear consumed me. My heart pounded rapidly against my ribs. Looking at the black veins that seemed to be pulsating, I clenched my teeth. I had actually hoped, that maybe, just maybe, the curse wouldn’t recur and I would finally have my happily ever after. But I was wrong, everything repeats itself.
The door clicked open and I hurriedly put my shirt back on.
“Hey love, can’t sleep? Is something bothering you?” Alexander asked worriedly as he wrapped his hands around my waist and I leaned into his touch.
“No, just felt a little warm so I wanted to take shower. Let’s go back to bed.”
I secretly hoped he couldn’t detect the slight shake in my voice. I’d have to prevent him from finding out about this. He looked so happy and I wanted to prolong that happiness as much as I could.
….
Waking up, I groaned at the sudden headache as I rubbed my temples. It was going to be harder to hide my illness if I kept having such episodes.<
Thank you for reading. Please let me know what you think. ❤️❤️
Rosaria I had been on edge ever since my headache episode in the morning. Every little thing seemed to make me want to snap. Frustration was building up inside of me because of our hopeless situation. Alexander brought me out for lunch but I couldn’t help the flash of irritation I felt when the waitress kept flirting with him. She had even undone three of the buttons on her shirt exposing her breasts and purposely spelt water on his crotch. I saw red when she picked up a tissue to wipe him. ‘How dare she touch what’s mine?’ I didn’t realize I had growled loudly until Alexander put his hand on mine to calm me down. Then I suddenly felt hot, I could feel that I was about to have an episode. But this was not the time, so I came up with a plan. Pretending to still be angry, I left the restaurant and drove off quickly before Alexander could catch up. I stepped on it and drove as fast as possible just so that I could reach before him and cool down my body.
Alexander “Michael, Jack and you three over there,” I said pointing at some warriors who were slacking during training. “I want you all to attack me at once.” “Uhm Alpha, I think I’ll pass,” Michael said hesitantly and I scoffed. Of course of the five, he’s the one that knew me the most and he probably guessed I was frustrated and wanted to let off some steam. I regretted snapping and walking out on Rosaria. When I ran to the woods, I was in agony. The pain I felt was suffocating. I wasn’t upset with Rosaria, instead I was upset with myself. How could I be so unobservant? I could tell there was something off when she kept evading my eyes in the office. But I shrugged it aside waiting for her to feel like sharing it with me. Letting out an anguished howl I ran deeper into the woods. I needed to release the rage that was building up inside of me. I stayed away in the woods for several hours, by the time I came back to t
Alexander “Alpha, we’ve found a witch,” I heard Michael say through the mind link. I woke up early, trained with Rosaria for a short while then she went back to sleep because she felt tired. Michael had mind linked that he had important news, so I called him to my office for a meeting. We were discussing a sensitive matter so we chose to use the mind link to hold the meeting. Walls have ears after all. “How come? I thought you said no one survived and if they did, they hid themselves well. Don’t you think it’s suspicious that a witch suddenly revealed itself at this time?” I asked. “I don’t think so, I had put up a huge amount of money as payment. They must have been tempted. Money after all is important to all,” he replied proudly and I rolled my eyes. I couldn’t help but feel like there was something fishy about this whole situation. But hey, beggars can’t be choosers right? “Locate her and bring
Rosaria Deja vu. That’s what it felt like. The eerie feeling that I felt when I saw the witchy symbols on the ground sent shivers down my spine, raising goosebumps. Having to experience another ritual in my present life didn’t sit well with me. Witches were not to be trusted. They say once beaten, twice shy, but here I was, putting my trust in someone who might turn their back on me and play tricks again. Some hours earlier, I had narrated to Alexander the memory of the ritual I went through as Gwendolyn. He seemed upset as he clenched his jaw, blaming himself all over again. “How did Elisa come in the picture?” He asked suddenly curious about what happened centuries ago. “Damien brought her to me when you were in a coma, they had already discussed the problem and the possible action to take,” I said, recalling the memory that was now vivid and part of me. Come to think of it, I had always been suspicious of Damien, if not for the fact
Alexander I watched on as Delilah performed the ritual on Rosaria. My wolf and I were on high alert incase she decided to pull up an evil stunt on us. She kept chanting and whispering spells. My heart squeezed painfully when I looked at Rosaria standing at the center of the circle, completely naked. ‘I’m sorry my love, it was never my intention to let you go through such things,' I thought sadly. I panicked when a strong wind started swirling around the circle, but relaxed when I noticed nothing unusual happened. After a few minutes, the wind had calmed down and the witch who now looked horrible with a nose bleed stopped chanting. “It’s done, you’re free,” I heard Delilah say and I perked up immediately. After thanking her and assuring her the payment was made, I scooped Rosaria up and rushed into the mansion while carrying her bridal style. I wanted to check her body but she insisted on checking herself so she locked herself inside the bathro
Rosaria Jitters. I wasn’t having cold feet but I was a bundle of nerves. Having to prepare for the wedding in one day made me really anxious. ‘What if I don’t find the perfect dress? What if something goes wrong? What if it rains?’ I wanted to have an outdoor wedding at the resort, I liked the environment there, the nicely leveled green grass, the trees. Just the perfect environment to say your vows at. But the reception would held at the pack so that everyone attends. I sighed as I looked at my mother running around making preparations, she was in charge of the deco and the food. Alexander was in charge of the guest list. He just had to mind link the alphas since he could do that even at a long distance. My job was to go for a beauty treatment, get my dresses and rest. I was being pampered and I loved it. “Let’s go, we don’t have much time,” Sheila said as she rushed down the stairs from her bedroom and I rolled my eyes.
Alexander I woke up late…. Despite chanting ‘don’t oversleep’ repeatedly in my head as I drifted off to sleep last night, I still slept in. The sweet dream I was having did not make it easier for me to wake up either. Everything was just perfect in the dream, Rosaria and I were mated and we had our own little pups, a boy and a girl. We were so happy that I didn’t want it to end…… “Alpha, wake up, we have an hour left to head over to the venue,” Michael’s voice was like a bucket of cold water spilled over my head. I sprang out of bed and looked at the time, a little dazed. Shit. “Why are you only waking me up now?” I asked him angrily. He was already dressed in a navy blue suit but he only came to wake me up an hour before the wedding. Did he plan to attend a wedding without its groom? “I-I thought you were up and dressed already. Only came to check on you because you took to long to come down stairs,” he answered nervously. I glared at him and
Alexander “By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Mr Knight, you may now kiss your……” Before Lucien could finish his sentence, I grabbed Rosaria’s nape and kissed her passionately. She reciprocated and we kissed hungrily. I bit her lip playfully as a punishment, her divine sweet scent was all over the place. All the unmated alphas were now on edge after getting a whiff of her arousal. I was on the verge of pulling their eyes out, no, perhaps castrating them would be a much better option. “Ahem, ahem,” King Lucien coughed awkwardly. “I would advise you wait until you go on your honeymoon.” A tinge of pink crept it’s way to Rosaria’s cheeks after we pulled apart. She was never a shy girl so seeing this rare side of her was kind of adorable. If it were up to me, I would carry her out of here and start our honeymoon right away. But we had to attend to our guests later in the evening. Holding Rosaria’s hand I turned so tha
