My heart hurt over everything that we had learned from Orla. It was positively disgusting what all Bianca had done. That level of evil was one that I had seen only one other time. Josef and Bianca were very similar.

We all decided to come back for Sharice’s interrogation tomorrow because there were more important matters to attend to right now. My heart broke for Daisy because she had been kept alive as leverage and raised as an orphan even if she was not one. I supposed that the one silver lining with it was that Bianca did not get a chance to harm her or corrupt her. There was no telling how old she was though. She would not have needed to be marked, given the fact that she was a hybrid.

It made me wonder how she hid her pregnancy from everyone. I would assume it was through magic somehow, whether her own or someone else’s magic. Hopefully, either her father or grandparents would want to take her in. If not then we would gladly take her and find her a loving family to adopt
