Waking up without Angel in bed had been enough to throw me into a panic. However, I calmed down once Knight explained where she was. It was a damn good thing that she had found Steven. That poor boy. I could not even imagine how painful it would be to lose a parent, especially at such a young age.

I was thankful that Angel was able to comfort both Steven and his mother. We would find a way to help them both. In the same way, we would find ways to help the families of those who lost loved ones.

Every pack, clan, coven, and thunder that had fought in the war and lost someone would be participating in a livestream being led by Kalen and Maddox.

As per our pack’s customs, we dressed in bright colors. It was primarily a human custom to wear dark colors while being in mourning. We, however, wore bright colors in celebration of their life. It was one way to honor them.

I was wearing a red button-down shirt with black slacks.

Oh, that would really be awesome. I personally loved the Fae and Coven plots the most. And Granny Ayla was a trip!

It happens when they are much older. I've been considering ways to tell that and thought about having an anthology book that would cover different things like that and Granny Ayla's mateship with her fated Alpha.
