Chapter 122 - The Drive
Today is the last day I will ever be in this room. Sit on this bed. look out this window. I look at my bags on the floor and feel defeat flow through my body.
My life as Marlene is done. I don't know how this new chapter of my life is going to pan out but I'm scared. I don't know where I'm going, what I'm going to do but I don't have a choice this time.
The only thing I should be grateful for is the fact that my parents are not giving up on me completely. They could have put me out in the street and let me fend for myself but they didn't.
