Chapter Twenty-Six - Leandros’ Abducts His Mate

Zephyrus’ POV:

“There’s no other entry point. We have to climb over,” I explained after Leandros and I inspected the surroundings. I wasted no more time and used my claws to grip the Sugar Maple tree growing along the boundary wall. I shifted instantly and climbed with ease. Leandros shifted too and tied his clothes around himself for use later.

This section of the garden was deserted, and we easily jumped onto the other side of the wall. I shifted back, and so did Leandros. He quickly put on his clothes, and we stealthily approached the house.

“What if he shoots us? We aren’t carrying weapons.”

“We’ll face it when it happens. I can’t shoot him if he’s Hera’s mate.” Leandros nodded, and we dashed across the garden towards the house before the guards could detect us. We stood plastered against the wall beside the back door when I froze. Was Hera trying to establish a mind link with me?

‘Why are you here, Zeph? Your life is in danger here. Go away!” she warned me.

‘No, I won’t leave
