The next morning she awoke to the alarm clock and thought of the night before. It almost seemed like a hazy dream. He had left around ten that if they wanted to keep their budding relationship a secret, he couldn't be gone for too long, his roommate was a horrible gossip he had said. He had been beyond happy when she deleted the app from her phone, and the two had exchanged numbers instead. Though the initial game was over, he said there were a few more games to play. She came running through the woods and saw the team standing in her front yard looking all around. As she ran through the crowd as quickly as she could they all saw what was following her while clawing at his eyes. She looked right at him and then as he nodded she fell down to the ground. Three shots rang out from three different angels all toward the police officer. He went down to the ground as she got up and ran to the team and placed herself in back of them. She waited as they secured the man and then was about ready to let her legs give way. The real police officers came running, and they could not identify the man was laying on the street. He was not one of theirs.
