Alisha's POV

Why did I agree to do this?

Oh that's right my Mom didn't give me a choice.

My shoes made a small click each time the heels made contact with the hardwood floors with every step. The sound echoed in my ears and I chose to focus on it instead of the drama I knew was ahead of me. Trust me there is drama coming and everyone involved knew that. None of us where going blindly into this but I know it was set up with good intentions in mind. My parents wanted me to be happy and felt this was the right path leading to it. The fact Lucien went along with it was surprising, but I'm guessing he must have figured it was going to happen sooner or later. Bite the bullet and get over it kind of thing.

We are going to be in his pack for who knows how long and it was unavoidable in the long run. He couldn't hide forever in his office and I couldn't in my room. We wouldn't be able to avoid each other the entire time. Maybe after tonight we can tolerate being around each other at times,
