Chapter 26: Missing Andrew

"Anything I can get you, ma'am?" Kenzie asked an old lady with wavy brown hair and expressive grey eyes, looking like she was in her seventies.

For more than two hours since the woman came to the coffee shop, she had been staring at Kenzie, studying her every move. Kenzie just had to check what the lady wanted.

"Well, how about a wife for my grandson? Would you like to be one?" The lady chuckled and said, "I saw you helping Mr. Chapman earlier and I think you were very sweet."

Mr. Chapman was one of the cafe's regular customers. He had a hearing problem which made it very difficult to get his order straightened out, but earlier, when Kenzie took his order, she was patient with him, smiling as she showed him the options for that day's special menu.
