Chapter 43: Briana's Plan

From one table, not too distant from where Kenzie and Andrew settled, a pair of grey eyes were filled with envy. 

It wasn't just half an hour ago where she was the center of the attention, but the moment Kenzie walked in with Andrew, the admiration in nearly everyone's eyes shifted away from her. 

Briana Evans' hands formed into fists beneath the table where she sat with her family and Jonard's family. 

She saw how Kenzie had easily formed a bond with Andrew's mother, one that she had never achieved in her entire life. All she received from Anabelle was recognition, never adoration.
