Chapter 83: Potential Kidnapper

"Kenzie, honey."

"Kenzie, it's mom."

"Honey, why are you sleeping on a bean bag? Come on, let me help you to the sofa bed at least."

It took a while, but Kenzie eventually awoke, hearing that familiar voice that she loved. Her eyes fluttered open with difficulty and she yawned, calling out for Samantha, "Mom?"

Her voice was weak, and it was cutting in and out as she said, "Why - why are you already here? I was supposed to fetch you from the airport?"

It was because, Kenzie was frequently breastfeeding Kimberly that she fell asleep on a beanbag, next to her daughter's crib. A sofa bed was made available for Kenzie and the caregiver inside the nursery, but it was situated meters away from the crib. 

Kenzie wanted to stay closer to her daughter, and the beanbag was a lighter carry.
