Chapter 26

Marienne's Pov

The sun had just begun to rise, casting a soft golden glow through my window. As i opened her eyes, I immediately noticed that my mates was not lying next to me.

I inhaled deeply, As I found pleasure in inhaling their lingering scent on the sheet.

I got out of bed and walked to the balcony, my heart heavy with a mixture of longing and concern. It seems i am slowly falling In love with the princes, I just feel it in my heart. and it's scares me.

I looked out into the distance and saw a group of men stripping off their clothes and, before my very eyes, transforming into magnificent wolves. Their fur gleamed in the morning light, and as they ran into the forest, a sense of wonder and fascination filled my heart.

How I missed running through the forest in my wolf form. I wanted to feel the wind rushing through my hair, the thrill of my powerful limbs carrying me through the forest.

As the wolves disappeared into the trees, I felt my longing for the forest increase.
