I woke up early in morning, the first thought that came through my brain was that I need to see my mother and to check her progress.

I could feel a surge of anticipation coursing through my veins. The night had had been a long one, filled with worry and fear for my mother, I had spent the night tossing and turning.

As I groggily opened my eyes, the morning sunlight gently poured through the lace curtains, casting a warm glow upon my face. I threw the covers aside and sat up, a mixture of excitement and nervousness fluttering in my stomach. Today was the day that I would find out if my antidote had worked.
