Devin returned before 4 pm and I was glad because I felt uncomfortable just staying in his house when we were as good as strangers at the moment.

"Hey guys," he put his bag on the chair and smiled at Ryan and me sitting on the couch, "so let's get going, I've talked to the alpha beforehand and he wanted to meet you two now."

"Oh," I got to my feet. "Um, we don't have any clothes so I might have borrowed one of your shirts," I explained when his eyes stopped on the green To shirt I was wearing that stopped on the middle of my thighs.

"That's okay, there's a thrift store just beside the packhouse, we will stop there on our way back, it's affordable." He shrugged.

"Thank you, Devin," Ryan nodded shortly.

Devin set his car in motion and we got in, "it's not a very far distance but I'm too tired to walk at this point." He commented.
