153: Crossing

It was still so hard for me to believe what I'd heard. I didn't know if I was supposed to feel bad that he was gone since we basically shared no bond but a part of me was really broken about it. He was the father Ryan had grown up to know and now all he had, his sister and father were no more.

The rest of the day didn't seem very pleasant to me but it was what we could do.

Alpha Ryan asked Beta Sean to move into the packhouse for the few days that we would be gone and I packed a week's worth of stuff even though I knew we had no intentions to stay that long away from the pack house.
