81: I met the beast

I stood still strategising what I would do in my head at him.

“Who are you? What are you doing in my forest?" His voice was thick and cracking. I could tell that it was not how he naturally sounded, I attempted to raise my habd in defeat but instead I took a knife from my pocket, I quickly stabbed his knee without giving him a chance to think, I turned him around, pushing his shoulder and pinning his arm behind his back.

I expected him to attack me but rather he took to his heels. It didn’t seem very beastly to me but now that I had established the fact that there was actually a creature living in the forest.I was definitely going to get to the bottom of it so I ran after him.

“What the fuck are you and where do you think you're going?”
