Teya’s leg shook and bounced waiting for the sun to go down. Markees paced the room beside her anxious just as she was.
“Maybe we shouldn’t tell him.” He said.
Teya only looked up at him with disappointment on her face.
“Lie? How would you explain the hunters death at the headquarters? Ken needs to know. Salina is taunting him. She purposely left her scent on me.”
Markees wanted to disagree, but only from his inability to control Ken and Kenneth. They would go frantic once both of these brutes find out Salina threatened Teya.
“All I’m saying is maybe we should find another way to say it to them. You know how they are. They will go after her tonight to murder her. If she is behind the half breeds then we need to find her and stop them. If they kill her…”
