The sun was shining bright as Bella, Matt, and Karma walked through the front door, exhausted but exhilarated from their spring break adventures. They had spent the last week in the Alps, skiing and having the time of their lives.

As they dropped their bags in the entryway, Karma turned to everyone with a mischievous grin. "Guys, I have a secret to share. There's a reason I wanted to come home before going back to college."

Bella and Matt exchanged curious glances. "What is it?" Bella asked, her eyes sparkling with intrigue.

Karma's grin grew wider. "I want to become a vampire, a Hybrid, like you guys."

Matt's eyes widened in shock. "Whoa, Karma, that's huge!"

Bella's expression turned thoughtful. "But why? You're amazing just the way you are."

"I don't want to be different from my family anymore." Karma's face lit up with determination.
