Chapter 30

After more than a year of staying abroad with Bon, we were able to come back to the Philippines.

After getting off the plane, our close friends and relatives immediately greeted us. I took off the black sunglasses I was wearing and looked up at the sky, closing my eyes to feel the rays of the sun touching my face.

I missed this. To look up at the sky and feel the rays of the sun while quietly listening to the noise in my environment.

After a year of my stay in a foreign country, I almost felt the warm welcome of the country I lived in again. Because we always wear thick clothes in other countries and we can only see snow around us. It's sunny there too but not as hot, unlike here in the Philippines. It cannot be denied why many foreigners come to our country, that is because of our country's good climate.
