I need you

Arthur tore through the fields like lightning ripping the sky apart. The cool wet morning breeze chilled my skin as my heart raced to his quick strides.

His heavy muscles tensed underneath me and his breath was like the hot mist of an active volcano.

"That's it, Kiddo. Just a little more." I cheered him up with a gentle brush on his dark mane.

We arrived at the spot. It was directly at the edge of the cliff. Arthur hated coming out here but this morning he seemed to be in a good mood as he relaxed against the rugged walls.

"I won't be long." I lied. "I promise."

The sun was just moving above the hills, making a spectacular entrance when I grabbed the camera.

I quickly changed the lens, adjusted my angles, and allowed the beautiful scene to guide my fingers to take immortal shots.

Arthur's protests brought me out of my deep reverence for the magical scene I'd been able to capture.

"Fine. We can go now." I grinned giving him a friendly scratch just below his chin.
