Becoming Good Friends

When they got to Amelia's apartment, Amelia went to take a shower, meanwhile, Sean looked around and noticed some intriguing pictures. When Amelia emerged from the shower, she noticed that Sean had taken a box containing her treasured pictures.

"Wow, these photos are incredible; did you take them?" Sean said pleasantly.

Amelia approached Sean, sat next to him, and said. "I took these quite some time ago. My father shattered my dream of being a photographer"

"What did he do," Sean said.

"He told me I had two options: I could keep pursuing my goal, but if I did, he'd marry me off to a man of his choosing." Amelia paused for a moment before continuing. "The second option was to stop spouting gibberish and focus on putting together a steady career, and if I did that, he told me that I could marry anyone I wanted, but I guess he couldn't keep his word." After speaking, Amelia felt tears on her cheeks and brushed them away. She then glanced at Sean and saw that he was staring at her with a sympathetic expression as if he understood how it felt to be deceived by a parent.

"What is it," Amelia quickly said to make the mood less awkward.

Sean smiled at her and said " guess we both have a father that sucks" Amelia immediately laughed upon hearing that.

"You're correct, but that's life; some people have understanding and loving fathers, and then there are those of us who have the most predominant and controlling fathers."

They both laughed as they flipped through the photographs.

Sean laughed as he saw a hilarious picture of her with a girl and a guy making funny expressions. "Who are these people?" Sean said, with a smile on his lips.

When Amelia glanced at the photo, her cheerful expression changed to a sad and furious one.

Sean saw how Amelia's facial expression changed, he put down the photo and said "It's okay, you don't have to tell me"

"No, it's not that; I was trying to forget about these people, so all those awful memories simply came flooding back." "Anyway, the guy on the right is my ex-boyfriend, and the girl on the left is my ex-best friend," she says.

"So this is the fool who couldn't wait for a beautiful girl like you," Sean remarked, hoping for a smile from Amelia, which she thankfully gave. They chatted for quite some time before the doorbell interrupted.

"I wonder who that is," Amelia said and stood up to open the door, the moment she opens the door Jonas’s face pops up.

"Jonas," Amelia said, surprised; he was holding flowers and chocolate and appeared to be quite upset; Amelia could tell he had been drinking.

"What are you doing here?" Amelia questioned.

"I'm here to win you back, Amelia I made a mistake and I know, but don't tell me you don't love me because I know that deep down you still want me and if you just give me one more chance I swear that I will stay loyal, and I will wait for you for as long as you want, the only thing I want is your heart, nothing more."

"Jonas no, don't come here and tell me you love me because if you really loved me you wouldn't have cheated on me in the first place and especially not with Sara, please don't come looking for me anymore don't contact me, no matter what you say or do I won't come back to you, I'm not stupid, I know that I deserve better, so please leave," Amelia said, tears running down her cheeks.

Jonas got down on his knees and began crying and pleading with her. "Amelia please, I am so sorry I can't bear to lose you" when Jonas said that he started acting strange, he stood up and grabbed Amelia's waist, pressing her close to him in an attempt to kiss her. Amelia struggled to untangle herself from his embrace, but it was too tight.

"Jonas, let go of me," Amelia said worried as she was afraid that he would do something unpleasant.

"Honey, you know you want me, so please stop fighting against me I know you said that you weren’t ready but please if you just let me love you, I will show you that I am the right man for you" He then whispered “Let me mark you mine” As he pressed a kiss on Amelia and inappropriately touched her. 

"Jonas Let go of me if you're sincere." Amelia was terrified and didn't know what to do, so she yelled Sean's name, and Sean rushed to the front door. He stood there for a second, seeing Amelia's ex-boyfriend attempting to get his way with her. He quickly realized what was going on and rushed up to her, pushing him away.

"I recommend you get the fuck out of here before I kick your ass," Sean said.

Amelia felt as though her rescuer had finally arrived.

"Who the fuck are you, and why are you at my girlfriends' apartment?" Jonas said, enraged. He had finally had his opportunity with Amelia, but this idiot came up and wrecked it.

"It doesn't matter who I am; all that matters is that you get the hell away from Amelia," Sean said, his hands clenched as if he was about to hit Jonas.

"Wow, I see so your sleeping with this guy as revenge for what I did" Jonas' face turned grim while he waited for Amelia to respond.

"It's none of your concern if I'm sleeping with him, I am certainly not your girlfriend." Amelia was irritated and was ready to kick Jonas where it hurts the most, but she shouted instead.

"JONAS IF YOU DON’T GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE I SWEAR I WILL KICK YOU IN THE BALLS"

Before Jonas could say anything else, Amelia once again screamed

"I SAID GET OUT" He then left.

Amelia slammed the door and went angrily over to her room Sean quietly followed her, she sat on her bed and began to cry.

"Do you want me to go kick his ass I will do it if you want?" Sean said in all seriousness.

"No no, it's okay I think I'm gonna sleep” Amelia replied as she slid under her cover. "You can leave if you want, but if you want to stay, there's a pillow and a blanket in the living room."

Sean stepped out of her room for a moment and returned with the pillow and blanket in his hands, which he placed on the floor next to her bed. Amelia got out of bed and said. "Don't sleep on the floor, Sean; I'll bring you a mattress."

Amelia got out of her room and returned with a mattress, which she placed on the floor next to her bed, followed by the pillow and blanket, which she placed on the mattress and said "now you can sleep."

"Thank you, Amelia," Sean said with a smiley face.

30 minutes later, they both fell asleep. A couple of hours went by and Amelia still couldn't sleep.

"Sean, are you awake," She said quietly to make sure that she didn't wake him if he was asleep.

"Yeah, I'm still awake" for some weird reason he was happy to hear her voice.

"I just want to thank you for what you did earlier if you didn't come, yeah, we both know he would have done something, so thank you."

"That's what I'm going to do for the rest of our lives so you just have to get used to it I will always protect you even if we pretend to stay husband and wife in front of our parents and friends when we are together, no matter what, I'm here, now get some sleep goodnight"

"Goodnight," Amelia said and happily went to sleep.

-The next morning-

Amelia awoke thinking Sean had gone home, so she went to the kitchen and saw that he had made breakfast and left it out for her. She sat down and ate her breakfast before standing up to go to the bathroom. When she entered the bathroom, she saw Sean half-naked, his lower body covered in nothing but a towel, and his sexy abs were the only thing visible.

"Oh, sorry sorry sorry," Amelia said and quickly left the bathroom. She stood outside the bathroom and said.

"Sean, I'm so sorry, I thought you left I didn't know you were in the bathroom," Amelia said in hope that Sean wouldn't be angry. Sean opened the door still with nothing more covering his body but a towel and said.

"There's no need to apologize, it’s all fine you can go in, I'm done now." Then he left and went to Amelia's room to change. Amelia was left shocked, she couldn't believe that she just saw him half-naked and he didn't even care that she almost saw everything.

Amelia went into the bathroom and began to get ready when she came out she saw that Sean had left her a not and it said.

- Amelia, I'm sorry that I left without saying anything, my dad called and said that it was an emergency so I had to go -

He also left his phone number, along with the message "call me whenever you need me." Amelia felt a growing warmth inside of her; she didn't know what it was, but she knew she'd never felt anything like it before.

It was Monday and she had to get to class, she knew that she would bump into Sarah and probably Jonas too but she didn't care, she felt like those two idiots needed each other, they had already tasted each other so why not be a couple, she took her purse and left.

On her way to school she got a phone call from Sarah, she wasn't angry anymore so she picked the phone up.

"What do you want," Amelia said with a calm voice.

"Amelia can we talk, after class, I have something to tell you, you don't have to talk to me I just need you to listen," it felt like Sarah had something on her chest.

She didn't wait for Amelia to reply and said. " Meet me at our secret place," then she hung up. 

Amelia went to class and luckily she didn't see Jonas, he didn't meet up today.

After class Amelia went to their secret place, when she arrived she saw Sarah waiting for her.

"What is it you want to talk about" Amelia couldn't care less about what she had to say but yet she still showed up.

"Amelia, I'm not here to apologize I do not regret what I've done, I'm actually glad that I had sex with Jonas, I've liked him for a long time so I thought that this was the perfect opportunity to do something because you didn't give him anything, so I'm asking you to stay away from Jonas and give me a chance to be with him"

Amelia could see that Sarah was really pissed so she wanted to piss her off even more.

" Sarah, I know that you have always been a horny hoe, and if you want Jonas then take him, I don't want to bother with hoes like you, and just so you know, Jonas came to my apartment last night and begged me for forgiveness so if you really believe that he would ever fall for you then keep believing"

Amelia left after she had put Sarah in place, Sara was left angry and wanted to start a fight with her but she was already gone.

Amelia took out her phone and called Sean.

"Hello," Sean said with a handsome voice.

"Hi, What are you up to," Amelia said as if they had been friends for years.

"Nothing, I'm done with my classes and I'm heading home now" 

"Oh okay, I just wanted to ask you if you want to hang out?"

"Amelia, are you asking me out?" Sean said excitedly.

"Only if you want to, " Amelia said amused.

“It’s a date then,” Sean responded.
