Chapter 18 Eighteen

SAMANTHA'S POV...

I kept the pillow on the couch and sat down facing the balcony to be sure he wasn't paying any attention to me before taking out my cell phone and checked for any update from the doctor but surprisingly there was none....

I decided to stay on my phone for a while and only go to sleep when he has gone to bed but clearly the man wasn't ready to go to bed yet...

He had been standing at the same spot for some time without moving an inch...

I shrugged and I tried not to make a sound to provoke him even more...

After staying on my phone for some time I became dehydrated and wanted to drink some water but unfortunately there wasn't any water in the room...

I glanced at the man who hadn't moved from where he was standing and gulped nervously...

Going down for a glass of water won't hurt, would it?

Once I was certain he wouldn't notice my absence, I quietly walked towards the door and tried to be as quiet as possible to avoid drawing his attention....
