WHAT TRUTH?

Something was going on with Miranda but I was yet to put my finger on it.

It started when she ate that damned raw noodles. When she had pointed her fork at me at the safehouse in Caracas, I had first thought it was a joke.

When I realized she was being serious, I went back into the kitchen and picked up the empty noodles pack. After checking it's condiments, I called a doctor, and told him everything. I was told that it wasn't possible for the consumption of raw noodles to cause mental problems.

Despite the excuses she gave me when she finally opened the door she had locked, I still felt something was wrong.

But then, what was the problem?

I became afraid when she tried to cut my hair because that only gave me more reasons to doubt her sanity. Once again, she had a strange excuse to give and I had no choice but to pretend that I had bought it.

I went to her room at night because I wanted to confirm for myself that she was okay. She was a bit cold toward me but other than that, h
