On a Wednesday morning at the Jones’ group.
Rita was sitting in her office having a cup of coffee. They had driven back from their mini vacation last night but didn’t have enough rest since they arrived in the early hours of the morning.
Chris urged Rita to take the day off but she declined. Today, she was going to search Eric’s office. She heard he would be going for a meeting outside the company with his assistant so that was a great opportunity for her and she didn’t want to miss it.
Time was running out. It irked her that a criminal like Eric was walking around freely without an ounce of guilt. The sooner she got dirt on him, the better.
Chris was a little skeptical about what Rita planned to do incase she was caught. But he understood that they had to try something otherwise, they wouldn’t be able to have Eric arrested.

When Rita walked out of the police station, her eyes were red and puffy from all the crying she had done inside. It took a while for her to come out because she didn’t know how to face Chris who had been waiting for her outside.
