I went back to where I was, when a few seconds later Harry left. I suppose he lied to me when he said he was João's neighbor. The last time he saw me with Harry, Julian had such a meltdown that I still didn't understand what had happened. That's when I had a stupidly brilliant idea; would kiss Harry. At that moment I didn't know what I was doing, it was wrong, Harry didn't deserve it, nobody deserved to be used. But only I would know.

My heart was still racing and my hands were sweating, adrenaline coursing through my veins. Since when had I become that? Desperate for a man's attention, Julian's exactly. Even willing to kiss Harry Barriere to awaken in him the rage he felt the other day. But from the moment I laid eyes on that man, those eyes, that smile, it got worse after we kissed intensely in my house. I could disregard myself as a normal person.
