Third person's p.o.v

"Are you ready? Shall we go?" Daniel asked.

Facing the mirror, Linda looked at Daniel through it. The only way she could stare at him without creating any doubts was through the reflecting surface.

"Do you seriously want to go? I mean don't get mad. I did not want to but I unintentionally heard you talking on the phone this morning and I heard you cancelling a meeting. I can understand. We will need to attend your client's party in the evening too. I don't want you to feel tired and then complain."

Linda scratched her neck nervously. She had an appointment with her doctor and disturbing Daniel was the least thing that she wanted. Who knew, he could go off the deep end like old times.

"Did you wake up because of that? I should have answered the phone call in my study room. I'm so sorry."
