Third person's p.o.v

Daniel's eyes widened and he furiously held Max's collar.

"How dare you? She is my wife."

The well built protectors of Daniel who was just standing a few meters away was now in the position to protect their master from his foe. There were guns in their hands and were directly pointed to Max. One sign from Daniel and Max would be buried underground. He did not even make an effort to stop them.

Yet, instead of fearing those bodyguards, Max daringly continued to look at Daniel's eyes. He would rather face death than conquer it.

"How dare I? How dare you torture her when you didn't know the truth. Do you imagine how much she suffered because of you? No husband treats his wife like a piece of shit. Just like you did."

Max raised his voice. His eyes were showing pure hate.

"And don't forget Linda already made it clear to you that she is with you because of her blindness. She is going to leave you after she gets her eyesight back. And I think it's for the best. She l
