chapter 34

Third person's p.o.v

Time seems to be a limited factor for Daniel. Sitting in the passenger's seat, he continuously glanced at his watch. Linda texted him and asked him to meet her at one of the penthouses that he gifted Rose.

He was a little mixed up at first but later realised that he did not want to engage himself with useless thoughts. What mattered the most was Linda and the answers.

"Are you sick or what?"

Daniel was at his wit's end. Luke had been driving for almost twenty minutes and they were still in the way. It only took ten to fifteen minutes to reach the destination.

"P-ardon me sir."

Luke's breath became uneven and he caught a glimpse of Daniel in the rear mirror. He was staring at him.

"Can't you drive faster?"

"M-my apologies sir."

After hearing an angry and frustrated Daniel, Luke accelerated and drove as fast as he could. An angry Daniel equaled a hungry lion. He was not in the position to care about the speed limit. The wish of Daniel was his command.
