Third person's p.o.v

Once Max settled down at her father's place, Linda led her way back to the mansion. Fatigue had consumed her to such an extent that she could throw herself in any couch or bed that would appear before her.

She stumbled while walking on the entrance. Her shoulders slumped and her energy level became low. People would mistake her for being drunk if they saw her in such a state.

When she entered inside, she saw the entire family including Daniel, sitting on the couch and staring at her. She cleared her throat and instantly adjusted her posture.

"You made an entry at the right time. Have a seat."

Brant uttered and Linda nearly cursed on her head. She wanted her consciousness to be suspended for a while.

She forced a smile and did what Brant said. She sat next to Daniel but the uneven breathing of him caught her attention. His hands were clenched in a fist and a muscle in his jaw jum
