128: Burning

ADRIANA’S POV

I’m still watching Daciana with awe fifteen minutes later. I can see the driver from outside the shop window, sulking in the front seat of his car. To feel useful probably, he rolled down the windows of the SUV and has been looking out the windows. I feel a little bad for him, knowing he is stuck between Xander and his sister. Though I’m sure a part of him knows Xander will kill him if he doesn’t listen to his sister.

What I still don’t understand is why everybody thinks he cares about me. I mean it makes butterflies swarm my belly but that is beside the point.

“What plans do you have?” I remember her saying that in her room. Now I’m kind of curious.
