ALPHA XANDER’S POV I don’t know for how long I sit there, staring at Adriana’s unmoving bloody body. I could have sworn the world stopped, my world stopped. I didn’t want to believe it even though it was glaring right at me, I wanted to find something to lie to myself about. Maybe, just maybe it wasn’t as bad as it looked.
